Each year, we work hard to recognize our outstanding students and staff at Hassayampa School. We purchase numerous items to make staff and students feel special and recognized. The support of our local PTA makes it possible for us to purchase these expensive items. When you purchase a PTA calendar or student portrait package, you give back to the school. Our PTA gives any profit to the school from its fundraisers to use for student incentives. So, when you see a Hassayampa key ring or honor roll pencil, remember, without the PTA, it would not happen. Please continue to support the PTA fundraisers. PTA is a PARENT - Teacher organization to support education in Wickenburg. We are always looking for parents to come forth and help in the areas of leadership and volunteerism. If you can give some time to help your child’s educational experience, then please consider supporting the PTA by volunteering.

All Hassayampa students and teachers will watch a movie at the Saguaro Theater on the last day of school, May 23. It will be great fun! We will watch The Croods, rated PG. The price per student is $7.00 for entrance to the movie, a bag of popcorn, and a soda. Students may purchase candy or treats for an additional cost. Students in grades K-2 will see the movie at 9:00 a.m., and students in grades 3-5 will see the movie at 12:30 p.m. We do not require new permission forms. Please have your child(ren) bring $7.00 to school by Friday, May 17. No additional seating is available for parents or visitors due to limited space in the theater.

We will have our Principal's Coffee once per month on Wednesdays at 8:15 a.m. Please join the principal for an informal gathering over coffee. During this time, we will discuss hot topics impacting Hassayampa. Check out our calendar for dates.
